Our Mission...
NCSM aspires to provide the highest caliber music education and the most uncompromised dedication to students. It is NCSM’s primary goal to provide our youth with the most essential elements necessary to excel on their chosen instruments and to inspire them to reach their fullest potentials.
The importance of music in all of our lives has always been recognized. It has been determined that early exposure to classical music develops higher scholastic achievements. Learning and performing music at a young age creates not only a strong mental discipline, but also builds a great amount of self confidence much needed in our growing and competitive society today.
About Us...
NCSM (Northern California School of Music) is the lifelong dream of three musicians who are very passionate about music. Not only do they have highly motivational teaching styles, but they also have extensive teaching credentials along with International performing experiences. These musicians started their music education early on in life and they realize how beneficial music can be to children’s lives. After many years of teaching, they observed how performance forums, which are essential elements to enhance and complement the students’ music studies, are lacking in many musical instructions. For this reason, NCSM creates inclusive programs that combine a gradual curriculum and music theory instruction, as well as monthly Solo and Chamber Recitals, an Annual Award Recital, Orchestral Performances and Annual Examinations. Through its comprehensive program, NCSM is committed to give the students the most complete learning experience and an extensive musical education that they will cherish for a lifetime.
